Well I think that you all know that I have the map that sees everyone in the castle and so if you want me to I will dig it out and use it, I haven't been using it at all because I was afraid of getting caught with it, but this is important. The only problem is that of course I can't have it all the time out because I need my wand to make it go blank, so I'll have to keep it in Severus Mr Snape's inner chambers or in my cubby.

Only maybe I should give it back to Fred and George so they can see all the time where people are? Or someone else? Professor McGonagall? Only is everyone too busy to be looking at it all the time? It's dreadfully important but even so I'm too busy, I mean, obviously I can't look while I'm supposed to be cleaning Harry's things or waiting at table or something.

Of course OF COURSE we would never do anything that would hurt the Order.

I'm sure you're right that he wants the truth about things, that's why he likes Sirius so much, but maybe not that kind of truth, when it hurts so much for him.

Look, I want you to know that I care an awful lot, alright? I mean, I know that you're sure things are your fault, and I know some people probably think so too, and maybe it's true but if it is it's the kind of your fault that isn't really—because you didn't ask to have the father you have. I mean that sometimes our actions cause something to happen and that's true, but we don't really get to blame ourselves, like me with my parents and everything.

I just mean, you told me that I couldn't blame myself for what happened to my mum and dad, and if that was true, you've got to stop blaming yourself, alright?

I just wanted to make sure you knew about this, that we can send private messages this way, and also I wanted to tell you that I don't resent you at all, and also that Sirius asked me about you and what I'd want if I were you and I know it's hard but I think I'd want to be on Fred and George's lock if I were you so there you are, that's why I told people we should ask you, just like that's why I told Sirius to help you.

And also I wanted to say, if you ever need someone to listen to outside the lock, I'm here, because I think we have some problems that are similar, I mean, more similar than Terry's, because he's surrounded by the most awful people which is the most awful, but it's another thing to have people who are nice around you but secretly awful, isn't it? And I know that's what everyone else has too especially the Slytherins but it is different if you're a Mudblood.

I just wanted to say, that I feel sorry for Cassandra, but I hate seeing people talk about it like it's something special. It isn't something special. It isn't special to her to be made to wait and know she's to be punished and it isn't special for her to be punished either.

I don't even mean that us Mudbloods get punished like that all the time; what I mean is even people like Hydra -- of course I bet Daphne Greengrass has never felt Cruciatus in her whole life but there are other purebloods in the world, and I think it's worse the higher up you get, except Harry because everyone's so protective of him.

But I just mean, this morning everyone was muttering at breakfast about how unfair it was, and maybe it is in comparison to how it could be, but it isn't unfair according to the way things are, because the way things are it's normal and I don't know why people won't admit that. It happens all the time, just not normally to Cassandra Calderwood or in front of the whole school!!
